Socialist Alternative Curtin

Socialist Alternative Curtin is a socialist and anti-capitalist activist club on campus. We are affilated to Socialist Alternative - the largest revolutionary socialist organisation in Australia that is active in campaigns against oppression and exploitation. We are also affiliated to the political party West Australian Socialists.

What we do

We are active in campaigns for refugee rights, Aboriginal rights, LGBTI rights, against Islamophobia, against sexism, for worker’s rights, Palestinian liberation, against cuts to healthcare, education and welfare and against war. For those interested in finding out more about socialist ideas, we run regular introduction to Marxism discussion groups and host meetings on and off campus.
